Coming Tournaments

Dear all,

Please find a list of all of the tournaments we have decided to enter UdL for in 2008. In selecting these, we have considered the following criteria:

- Close to Lux

- Not too expensive

- At least one competitive open tournament p.a. (Windmill wind-up)

- At least one competitive co-ed tournament p.a. (many available; TBC

- 1 tourny every 3-6 weeks

We are in the process of registering for several of these tournaments now, but really need to have an indication if you want to play or not. Places will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, so be QUICK. If you are undecided, or cannot play, PLEASE indicate accordingly in any case (with as much detail as necessary (e.g.: 'I will play if my injury heals';: 'I need to check with my boss and will know by x/y/Z'; 'I don't have enough money to go.....') so that we can manage things accordingly.

The UdL team continues to grow, and will only get bigger as we get into the spring, so we suggest indicating early. Also- several people have spent a lot of time organising this, and we do not want to register (and pay and potentially lose) registration fees for nothing (your UdL membership money).

In any case, please indicate for all tournaments by 24 February. Thanks ;-)

If there are any people interested in organising (Tournament Coordinator) any particular tournament, then please indicate.
