Haaner Käfighaltung 2006

Ultimate deLux's first ever tournament. While we placed last in the tournament, this didn't stop us from having as much fun as one could want in a first ever tournament. Saturday evening, we played a fantastic game against Frisbee Family, a very well respected Masters' team from Dusseldorf. We lost on time, 7-8. While the rest of the games weren't quite so close, everyone learned a lot and is eager for the next chance to play.

It's too bad there was no spirit prize awarded at Haan; judging by the way the crowd was cheering for us, I think we might have had a good chance of winning it! Spirit was high, no matter how we did. I've never had so much fun losing games in my life.

Lastly, a big thanks to JT for being our guest captain. His experience kept us in the game, and his light-heartedness kept us in stitches.
